Westford Climate Action, along with the Westford Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee and the League of Women Voters of Westford, present “Meeting the Climate Challenge: The View from an MIT Observatory,” a free climate webinar featuring researchers at the MIT Haystack Observatory.

This Thursday, January 27 at 7 pm, Dr. Colin Lonsdale, radio astronomer and Haystack’s director, will describe the Observatory’s work and climate change science. Dr. Pedro Elosegui, leader of the geodesy team at Haystack, will then talk about his polar geodetic research, which includes global climate and sea-level change. A Q&A with the audience will follow.
