The League’s next Civic Social, on Wednesday evening, Feb. 19, at 7:30, will focus on the issues the School Committee has been discussing over the past few months and the challenges and opportunities facing the Westford Public Schools. Join us at WestfordCAT, 487 Groton Road, for an informal conversation with School Committee Chair Valery Young about the change to school starting times, the Robinson School feasibility study, the recommended FY2026 school budget, and anything else school-related you’d like to know more about.

We’ll also be discussing the citizens’ petition article on the Annual Town Meeting warrant that would amend the general bylaws to change the date of town elections from the first Tuesday of May to the first Saturday of May each year. Valery, as a private citizen, is the lead petitioner on the petition.
