Lynn Cohen, Fran Mower, Chris Kandianis and Ellen Harde have been meeting with Angus Jennings, Director of Land Use Management to identify ways to make the sign bylaw easier to read and interpret. We have come up with a reorganized version that begins by outlining when a sign permit is needed, followed by the laws governing signs in different zoning districts. In addition we clarified some sections and maintained consistency of word use. This new version will go to the March 2011 Annual Town Meeting.
