Candidates’ Night, the League’s annual “Flagship” event, is being held on April 27. It is coming up fast and there is much to do. Joan Keane will be hosting a “kick-off” coordinating party on Monday, March 9, starting at 7 p.m. at her home at 10 Graniteville Road. We will review and discuss the project timeline, and choose tasks. The main focus will be generating questions for the candidates, much work on which was accomplished at the January 26 work party. The plan is to distribute the questions within days after the March 17 deadline for submission of nomination papers. Answers will be formatted into a Voters’ Guide for publication in the Westford Eagle and posted on the LWV website.
