When we vote on the Community Preservation Committee\u2019s recommendations at Town Meeting, have you wondered how those projects get on the warrant?<\/p>\n<p>Come to the League\u2019s virtual Civic Social on Wednesday evening. Jan. 19 at 7:30 to learn why Westford imposes the Community Preservation tax surcharge and how those tax dollars are spent.<\/p>\n<p>Civic Socials are the League\u2019s informal monthly get-togethers where people \u2013 League members or not \u2013 can learn what the League is doing and what\u2019s happening in and around town. Do you have a public-interest question you\u2019d like to know more about? Feel free to bring it to the Civic Social too.
