{"id":2102,"date":"2021-06-28T08:02:35","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T12:02:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwv.westford.org\/?p=2102"},"modified":"2021-06-28T08:02:38","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T12:02:38","slug":"league-supported-issues-are-approved-at-annual-town-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lwv.westford.org\/?p=2102","title":{"rendered":"League Supported Issues are Approved at Annual Town Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The full results of the votes at the June 12th Annual Town Meeting are available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westfordma.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/10129\/2021-Annual-Town-Meeting-Results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are happy to report that the three issues the League supported were all approved by Town Meeting. &nbsp;These included $2,000,000 in Community Preservation funding for a senior residential affordable housing project at 35 Town Farm Road, a resolution urging that the proceeds from the sale of the Town Farm building and land be used to fund a future fire training facility, and accepting changes to the town\u2019s bylaws to make all language in those bylaws inclusive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The full results of the votes at the June 12th Annual Town Meeting are available&nbsp;here.
