At Special Town Meeting in October of 2020, Town Meeting committed to adopting clean energy and reducing fossil fuel use, and it directed the development of a strategy for achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The initial draft of that strategy has now been created by the Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee. This month\u2019s virtual Civic Social will discuss the roadmap and its implications for Westford with Erika Kohl, a member of the League and the Clean Energy Committee.
