Celebrating “Westford: A Sense of Community”

    Posted on Feb 09 2019

February 9, 2019 marks the 40th anniversary of the first showing of the slide-tape show at the Elks Hall in Forge Village. The League is excited to be able to make this moving documentary of the history of Westford as it changed through the years available online for streaming!

In 1996, a book was created based on the material in the slide-tape show. Westford is available in local businesses (Westford Museum, Muffins on Main), and can now be ordered online.

Please join us in rediscovering this wonderful work about the history of Westford!

    “How Westford Works” Published

    Posted on Mar 26 2018

The League of Women Voters of Westford is excited to announce their latest publication, “How Westford Works.”   This document describes all aspects of town government, and is a great way to get to know how your town works. You can find it at League events (such as the upcoming Candidates’ Night on April 26) or online.  It will also be made available at Town Hall and the Library.

The League would like to thank the committee that started with the idea for this document last year and worked to locate and collect all of the information about the Town of Westford in one place. We hope this will be an invaluable resource for residents both new and old.
